In the version of Assignment 5 that was downloadable on Jan. 13, the transformed example 1 in Exercise 5.3 was wrong. This has been corrected. The printouts are the corrected version.
06.01.2004   Lecture dropped
The lecture "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" on Wednesday 7th January will not take place because of illness.
05.01.2004
In Exercise 4.4 the last two sets of variables erroneously have been interchanged in each part of the exercise, i.e., instead of "A is indepenent of B given C" it should have been "A is indepenent of C given B". A corrected version of Assignment 4 can be downloaded.
22.12.2003
In Exercise 4.1 the predicate AncOf defines a relation such that AncOf(x,y) has the (intended) meaning "x is a descendant of y" (not an ancestor). Hence it should better have been named DescOf or the like. A modified version of Assignment 4 can be downloaded.
