03.08.2007 Access Exams
The date for having a look at the exams is Wednesday, 8th August 2007 between 14:00 and 15:00 at the seminar room of Informatik 5 (room 6243).
03.08.2007   Results of the Second Exam available
The results of the second written exam on 30.07.2007 are now available.
16.04.2007   Registration Form for Second AI Exam is Online
The online registration form for the second written exam of "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" on 30th July 2007 is now available. Registration will be possible until 24th July 2007. Please note that the registration via this form is independent from any official registration at the ZPA.
19.03.2007 Certificates
The certificates can be picked up at the secretariate of the I5 (room 6231). Certificates are only available for those students who have NOT registered at the ZPA for this exam; for all students who have registered at the ZPA, the results will be submitted to the ZPA, directly.
02.03.2007 Access Exams

06.02.2007 Lecture Hall PC
The tutorial that takes place tomorrow between 17:15h and 18:45h is relocated to the lecture hall PC. A location plan can be found here.

As a preparation for the exam we provide an additional assignment sheet dealing with yet untreated topic of neural nets and backpropagation learning.

19.01.2007 Practice Exam Available
The material section now contains a practice exam.
17.01.2007   Updated Information about Exams
The course webpage has been updated with information regarding examinations. In particular, registration is now possible until 7th February 2007.
12.01.2007 Mobile Robot Mapping and Exploration
We want to point you at a talk about "Probabilistic Techniques for Mobile Robot Mapping and Exploration" which is held by Prof. Dr. Wolfram Burgard. It will take place on Thursday, 18th January 2007, in the lecture hall AH I. The talk will start at 16:30h. For further information look here and here.
08.01.2007   Lecture rescheduled
There will be no lecture on Monday, 15th January 2007. It is rescheduled to Wednesday, 10th January 2007.
04.01.2007   Corrected version of Assignment 4 available
In exercises 4.2 and 4.3 all implication signs were misprinted. The intended meaning in e.g. 4.2 a) was P implies (Q implies P). In the corrected version of the assignment sheet the implication signs now point in the correct direction. It can be downloaded here. Sorry for the confusion.
20.12.2006 Exams for Students of "Technische Informatik"
For the students in the diploma programme "Technische Informatik", there will be an oral exam of 20-30 minutes instead of the written one. These oral exams will presumably take place between 14th and 21st February 2007. The exact date and registration formalities will be announced later. In certain cases (e.g. for getting a grade), additional registration at the ZPA might be necessary.
12.12.2006   17:15h Tutorial in Room AH III tomorrow
Tomorrow, on Wednesday 13 December, the tutorial starting at 17:15h will take place in lecture hall AH III instead of AH I.

21.11.2006   Lecture on 29th November instead of 6th December
Due to the absence of Prof. Lakemeyer, there will be no lecture on Wednesday, 6th December but instead one on Wednesday, 29th November (i.e. next week). The updated semester schedule can be found here.
08.11.2006 Course Scripts
Those who did not pick up their ordered scripts today can get them at Daniel Beck's (Room 6201) or Jens Claßen's (Room 6213) office.
07.11.2006   Course Scripts
The printed course scripts are ready. We will hand them over to students who ordered one after the lecture on Wednesday, 8 November between 09:45h to 11:00h, however in lecture hall AH IV.
06.11.2006 First Assignment Sheet Online
The first assignment sheet can now be downloaded from the webpage. Hand in your solutions at the beginning of either tutorial on Wednesday, 15 November.
25.10.2006 Alternative Date for Tutorials
Because of sufficient interest, there will be a second (alternative) tutorial every Wednesday from 17:15h to 18:45h in lecture hall AH I, additional to the one from 11:45h to 13:15h. The same material will be discussed in both of them, so students can pick the one that suits best into their schedule. Both tutorials will start on 15th November.
25.10.2006 Ordering Course Scripts
Students can order a copy of the course script (which is a printout of the transparencies used in the lecture) by entering their name on the list in the first two classes (25th and 30th October).
24.10.2006   Preliminary semester schedule available
A preliminary schedule for the dates of lectures, tutorials and assignments is availabe. In particular, notice that the date of the first tutorial moved to Wednesday, 15th November.

The second written exam will be on Monday, 30th July 2007 at 10:00h in lecture hall AH VI. Duration will be 90 minutes.

No aids are allowed other than a dictionary. In particular, pocket calculators are disallowed.

Please bring along your student ID and a photo ID!

Registration was possible via an online registration form until 24th July 2007.

Note: The registration on this website is independent of any registration at the ZPA. In particular Master students have to register additionally at the ZPA.

Results of the Second Written Exam

Orals for the Second Exam
Participants who did not pass after the second or third attempt have the opportunity to do an additional oral exam. Note however that if that exam is passed, the grade is only a 4.0 (and it is not possible to a third attempt for further improving the grade).

The oral exams will be on August 16th, 2007.

Registration is by sending an e-mail to Jens Claßen (classen [at] kbsg [dot] rwth-aachen [dot] de).
